Is it true that a US application filed through PCT route can get the patent grant earlier due to restriction on time limit to evaluate PCT application.
If yes, then why not all file PCT application even to get protection only in US? cost factors??
A national phase application, is examined with accordance to the national patent office (USPTO or others) under same time tables as single filed applications. Nevertheless there are a lot of PPH agreements that could get a certain application be examined sooner with regards to earlier examinations results.
